Edward Medina is an Amazon KDP bestselling author of high fantasy, dark horror, and epic adventure books, short stories, and poems. To date his combined works have earned over one hundred and fifty Amazon and Goodreads five star reviews from readers, reviewers, bloggers, teachers and fellow authors.
He is a native New Yorker who over time has built a significant and multifaceted career. He has been a producer, director, and writer for both digital media and the New York Off and Off - Off Broadway stages. He also had the honor and the privilege to work for the late great Jim Henson creator of the Muppets.
Edward founded a successful independent production company dedicated to family entertainment and children’s causes. He also established a multimedia company in order to assist nonprofits achieve their own cause related goals. He went on to become a theme park designer. For fun he became a steam train engineer and has been since childhood a sometime magician.
Currently Edward is a freelance critic and entertainment news journalist covering Broadway, Off Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Clubs and Cabarets for TheatreReviewNYC and TheaterScene. He also maintains his love of production by continuing to create new works for both stage and screen.
Edward Medina attended Adelphi University for Theatre Arts and is proud to be a member of the Drama Desk, the Dramatists Guild, the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, the Horror Writers Association, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, and Theater Resources Unlimited.
He is also a member of the American Theatre Critics Association where he serves on both the Membership and Diversity & Inclusion Committees.
WhiteWolf Theatrical Productions is an independent production company founded by Edward Medina and Nate Hinkle to create, develop, and produce in-house and partnered projects for live event, theatre, television, documentary, and both short and feature length film production.
Theatrical credits include the Off-Off Broadway production of the musicals Frankenspell Superstar and Freedom’s First Light: The Legend of Robin Hood. The WWTP team has also produced theatre for young adults including the plays Joshua and the Grandfather Clock and The Trial of Shady Magee, and the musical Danger Dinosaurs.
Live event production includes For the Kids: A Musical Celebration of Youth and the Environment at Washington Square Church, and The Children’s Earth Summit for the American Indian Community House.
WWTP also served as the lead organization on the NGO Advisory Board to, and production consultant for, the United Nations Global Youth Forum, and was a production consultant to the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development for their dance competition Step It Up 2015 presented at the world-famous Apollo theatre in Harlem.
WhiteWolf Theatrical Productions continues its theatrical endeavors with the upcoming Off-Broadway production of the play Four Days with Edgar Allan Poe, and the development for eventual production of The Count - a new American Musical based on Alexandre Dumas’ The Count of Monte Cristo. Upcoming film projects include a short film based on the bestselling short story The Conversation, a full-length adaptation of the bestselling horror short Awilda, and production of the feature length romantic comedy It’s In The Eyes.
